The first 30,000 books digitised

In collaboration with Google

3 August 2015

In the extensive digitisation project, in which older books from the UvA Library collections are being digitised by Google, we have reached the 30,000 mark.

Thanks to the project, these UvA books are now accessible worldwide via Delpher and Google Books, and as of August they will also be accessible via the UvA catalogue and CataloguePlus.

This first selection comprises such unforgettable titles as Johan van Beverwiik Lof der genees-konsteRobert, chef de brigands, ou l’homme vertueux : comédie en cinq actes et en prose and Theocriti, Bionis et Moschi Carmina bvcolica.
